What is the Dominican Republic Service Trip or DRST?

The DRST is a mission that Watkinson school partners with to help displaced Haitians and sometimes people born in the DR additionally, who live and work on sugarcane plantations, many without documentation which forces them to stay with little to no money and resources. During our week-long Thanksgiving break we help by bringing medical services, construction and donations of food, shoes and hygiene products to people living in the Bateys (underprivileged villages).
